UEFA Champions League Final.
There’s a couple more big dates from the club schedule in Europe left with the Champions League Final taking center stage.
Real Madrid will attempt to win their 11th title when they take on city rivals Atletico in a rematch of the 2014 final.
Aleti were just seconds from winning the game when Sergio Ramos rose to head the ball home to take the game to extra time where Real ran out comfortable 4-1 winners with goals by Bale, Marcelo and Ronaldo.
This was the the second time Atletico had lost the final as in 1974 the held a 1-0 lead over Bayern Munich in extra time with just seconds to go again before Schwarzenbeck equalized. Back then there were no penalty kicks and the game went to a replay which the Germans won 4-0. Atletico will be hoping to avoid a similar fate this time around and host the trophy for the first time in their 113 year history.

Try some of the Brooklyn Brewery Brewmaster’s Reserve at Smithfield Hall. We have added a 29th draught beer line and will be changing it on a regular basis. To get it all going we’ve stayed local and will be pouring the Quadraceratops from Brooklyn Brewery. It is a strong dark abbey ale, complex and fruity without being overwhelming. At 9.9%ABV this Belgian Quadruppel-style ale is thick with flavors of black cherries, toasted caramel and dark stone fruit. Try it for a limited time at Smithfield Hall.
We are happy to announce opening of Smithfield Hall. Smithfield Tavern was very close to us all and it was a sad day for when it’s doors were shuttered. But in the great City of New York change is the constant and nothing stays the same for too long. Read More
